What is Off Airport Check-In Service?
A stress free way to check in for your flight at our “Virtual Airport”. Available to passengers who are departing from Orlando International Airport, You can check your luggage and receive your airline boarding pass right at our check-in facility.
Which airlines are participating in this program?
The service is available only if you are flying on: AirTran, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Continental, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, United and US Airways
How does Off Airport Check-In Service work?
Simply visit the Off Airport Check–In facility no less than 3 hours prior to your departure time during our operating hours (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily). Everyone traveling must be present to check in, including children. A valid government issued photo ID is required to participate (passports for International travel).
If I am departing for an international destination, can I use the Off Airport Check-In Service?
Yes, even if you are changing aircraft at another airport to connect to an international flight. However, all international passengers must call the Bags Call Center at 407-284-1231at least 24 hours in advance to confirm flight information.
Whom do I contact when I have a change to my flight information?
Before arriving at the Off Airport Check-In facility you may call the same number used to make your airline reservation.
How is Off Airport Check-In affected by airline baggage fees?
Fees vary by airline. Passengers should inquire with their specific airline as to what fees might apply. Passengers may contact Baggage Airline Guest Services at (407) 284-1231 to pay any airline fees in advance of visiting the Off Airport Check-In facility, which will have a record of the payment transaction. Baggage fees may also be paid at the off airport check in facility at the time of check in.
What other luggage requirements must be met to use the Off Airport Check-In?
For all airlines, each piece of luggage must be 50 pounds or less for domestic flights, and it must comply with the airline's size-dimension baggage policy. Overweight and oversized luggage can be accepted at the Off Airport Check-In desks. Please check with your airline in advance for passengers traveling on international flights as fees may vary for each airline.
Can passengers utilize the Off Airport Check-In if they have multiple bags?
Yes, passengers can use the service as long as they either contact Baggage Airline Guest Services at (407) 284-1231 to pay the airline's excess luggage fees or pay them at the off airport check in facility at the time of check in.
What forms of payment are accepted by Baggage Airline Guest Services for excess luggage fees?
Guests may pay with a credit cards or cash. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover Card are accepted.
What are the costs and fees for the Off Airport Check in Service?
Walk-up rate is $15 per person, if you present a discount flyer the cost will be $12 per person. If there are 4 or more people in the party you will receive the family rate of $10 per person.
